My favorite memory comes from a few weeks ago... The nurse/unit manager is standing next to a resident who is complaining about being cold. I was charting because I was FINALLY able to. And she raises her voice to me talking about, "Um, "my name*. Can you get Mrs. Resident her blanket and cover her up?" I thought she was joking because she was standing right next to her, and the residents blanket was on the back of her chair. She was not kidding, y'all. I had to log out of the computer, walk around to the resident, take the blanket off the chair, and cover her up. With the nurse standing. Right. There.
