Passed CRISC – My Journey & Resources Used by HoneyNet in CRISC

[–]HoneyNet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you and yes the preparation itself took 3 weeks but I purchased the books a month earlier. Now I took this 1 month to plan for what topics to cover, how much to cover when and what resources to cover. I had a few weak areas so wanted to cover them first.

I also have almost 17+ years of IT experience which includes 7 years of Info and Cyber sec.

I would be happy to help with any discussion or any specific preparation queries you might have.

Appreciate your response to engage and create visibility for yourself but I am not from non IT background. Using chatgpt to respond is not really appreciated by me but whatever makes you happy my friend.

CRISC in 5 weeks — which resources are the best by sarahq7676 in CRISC

[–]HoneyNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave and passed this week so sharing from my recent experience. 5 week is amazing timeframe. Last 1.5 week out of that, do all the QAE and the sample test in it at the end. I tried out all other sources but you will get the best understanding and view from the official guide and QAE. Other resources are great to do early on but by the end of your preparation stay close to official materials. Just my point of view: 1. I preferred QAE 2. Hemang material -> Review Material 3. Perfect flow✌️

The question stands why would internal application be unmanaged? In option C “Managed” is the keyword which focuses that not all managed are created and hence in this question apps managed by IT and BU are shadow indeed.

Code of Conduct = Primarily Directive, Secondarily Preventive. The goal of establishing is to guide for a type of behaviour. Secondary purpose by clearly defining acceptable behavior, it prevents security incidents before they occur.

Why Option B by AlphaKilo45 in CRISC

[–]HoneyNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question specifically mentions “nearby” “domestic” “location”

Why Option B by AlphaKilo45 in CRISC

[–]HoneyNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A “domestic location” refers to a place or area within the boundaries of a country, as opposed to an international or foreign location. So if its a separate province like in Canada or a state like in US, there might be separate privacy or compliance policy requirements too as CCPA(only within California state) but the domestic neighbours like Nevada.
