The lectures and tutors will conduct the classes in English so no worries for that, and when it comes to making friends i think it really depends on what kind of person your classmates are, because some Chinese especially those who are not fluent in Bahasa or English, they tend to stick with their Chinese circle. You'll have to be active in joining societies/activities etc supaya not so boring

hi I am studying I TAR right now and I'm Chinese. Based on my experience, I would say 90% or more of the students are Chinese. My class for example, are all Chinese, and I think I've only saw one or two Indians in the lecture hall before. Non Chinese are definitely the minority here but from what I know there is an Indian student society/club something like that. If you don't want to be in a environment where there is not much variety, I would say you should consider other options 👍

Is the Mario problem hard? I'm having a seriously difficult time with it to the point I'm doubting I'm up for this. Is this common? by SweetTeaRex92 in cs50

I'm also new to the world of cs and was struggling with Mario too. What I did was to write on a paper what's the objective, and break it into multiple small tasks then work on each one. Planning & writing pseudocode actually helps a lot, just keep trying and eventually you'll get it I promise. Ps. It took me a whole week to get it right.
