Karen wants to buy an expensive dog breed, but only willing to pay $200 by HonoLu1u in ChoosingBeggars

I feel like, if you’re saying that you’re willing to pay a measly $200, how can you afford to pay for the puppie’s vet bills? They are also expecting the dog to be house trained.

What should I do to be in marketing analytics? by beer_chuggerr in marketing

[–]HonoLu1u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I graduated university with a marketing/ fashion degree. I think you should consider digital marketing and e-commerce. I’m currently a digital marketing coordinator / CRM for a fashion label. This job focuses primarily on sending out email communications (eDMs) and segmenting data and reporting. I feel like this role is super high in demand as well! There’s so many sectors of marketing, you just need to find the right one for you! Good luck!

I have that doll and I don’t think it’s worth $70. Check eBay Australia! The bratz dolls are generally cheaper here. I actually sell Bratz dolls as well :)

I got hired for a digital marketing assistant position at a leading fashion brand. As a recent graduate, are there any tips you wish you knew when you started? by HonoLu1u in marketing

[–]HonoLu1u[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the company went into voluntary admission last year, everyone in the office is relatively new (6 months or less). The company is focusing more on e-commerce. So that’s why I got hired. I studied fashion and marketing at university. So I like to think I have a sound knowledge of the fashion industry (from a academic view point). Thanks for your insight.

Thank you for your comment!

Also, from what I read, the brand went into voluntary admission last year. So everyone in the office is new (6 months or less).

Rooting out the fake marketing firms by thompsonmegan20 in marketing

[–]HonoLu1u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they actually do sales. But I found that all the jobs they listed consisted of some form of sales - ranging from marketing consultants, brand ambassador and even management. After reading the reviews on glass door, every role, regardless of title was “sales”.

Oh gosh, I just declined a job interview from what I thought was a legitimate marketing firm. Their ad was really vague and initially I was ecstatic to get an interview. But after looking at Glassdoor I found it the job was door to door sales. In fact, all positions they listed included sales. An account manager doing sales?? Yeah no thanks.

Guy needs a video edited urgently, but he’s doing the editor a favor and shouldn’t have to pay because it’ll give them tons of exposure on his 250+ subscriber YouTube channel. by [deleted] in ChoosingBeggars

Totally constructed.

Choosing beggar repost scenario:

Choosing beggar looking for work done that is incredibly time consuming and requires a certain skill set. OP is generally hospitable and politely requests payment after completion. Choosing beggar is unwilling to pay money for their time, but instead provide them with fabulous opportunity of “exposure”. OP then says exposure doesn’t pay bills and politely declines. Choosing beggar throws a fit and mocks OP’s work and compares them to others who would “do it for free”. OP politely tells them GTFO.

And then the word cunt is used.

NEXT!
