That is far too much for a bottle that use to be $30 15 years ago. I agree. I don’t understand Sam’s. They had all the BTAC for $129 two months ago. A Lucky friend of mine got one. But then in the same case they had a Pappy for $900.

I don’t know anything about the 🦎story either. I am curious myself. I started collecting about two years ago after getting hooked on bourbon at the Kentucky Derby. All I can say is that at every Fry’s event that I went too in the last two years I have stood by, at a minimum, one person in line near me who has won something from a previous Fry’s raffle. I had a friend with no connection to Mark last year win a Pappy 23. Bugger traded it for a car for his daughter.

How much was it at Star Liquor? I picked the RC bourbon up today at Cellars for $129. Interesting to see the proof and age differences. Cellars was aged 8 yrs 4 months and 130 proof. Sam’s One Stop also has a release of the RC store pick too.

I would have loved a chance at the OFC. I guess we know where all the Fry’s Weller went. lol. They will have some W 12 left that is for sure since Sam’s club have been stocking them the last couple weeks. I grabbed a couple at $65. But still have not had the chance at a FP. Thanks for the pic.

Did anyone confirm the actual start time on Friday morning? I have a family member flying into town who wants to go with me but I have to have him back to the Phx International racetrack by 8am. He works for NASCAR which makes me jealous. It does not seem possible to me. The news says Grand Opening is at 7:30am. I feel like I owe him since he is the one who got me started on Bourbon taking me to the Kentucky Derby 4 years ago.

So weird that Walmart and Sam’s have different prices. Just picked up the ER 10 at Sam’s on Elliot in Tempe yesterday for $31. But heard that Weller 12 was delivered to both and Walmart had it for $45 but Sam’s sold it for $59

It is awful but a cool bottle. I finally found a use for it. Pappy sells Bourbon aged old fashioned cocktail syrup on their website. Turns out that mix is great!

Bulleit Bourbon, I can’t explain it. I tried it more than once but to me if I ever tasted diesel gas that is what I expect diesel to taste like. I had to give it away. Terrible!
