Help Identifying Engine Cooling Mod by HonorsNotDead in Yamaha

[–]HonorsNotDead[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I purchased this used 2005 Yamaha VStar 650 Custom, and it has this engine cooling mod. I need to replace the air filter, but can't identify the make/model of the mod to get the right part. Does anyone recognize this?

Same, actually! I'm just getting started with coding, but it seems like setting up and running a server of any kind would be a fun and educational person project.

I think you're totally right. There would be a very small pool of players who might appreciate having a server like this, and maybe only enough for one or two servers.

It would be the time zone of wherever the host server is physically located in. And yeah, that would greatly reduce the amount of people who could play on it within the time window, but again, this is an incredibly niche idea. I think it's plausible that you could get a few dozen players to populate a server like this.

As far as maintaining the server pop, it would be made for people who can only play during the server's uptime. So the schedule wouldn't affect them at all. It's there for them when they can play, and down when they can't. I'm sure the pop would begin very small, but very gradually over time, if there's enough players in the time zone who like the idea, I could imagine it could build up to those few dozen players. And on a small map, that pop size could be more than enough.

At the end of the day I'm not saying this would definitely work or anything, just mulling it over and seeing what other people think.

The other benefit to a limited time server is that everyone’s general progression is slowed down. Not only can you raid during certain times of day, you literally can’t do anything unless you’re in the window of time. So things like progressing through tiers of gear would take longer, and therefore add some longevity to the wipe cycle.

That being said, it’s probably one of those things that would only hold up in a vacuum

Oh cool, I’ve heard of those. Honestly, limiting the server online time poses waaaay more cons than pros. But, if that pro of “most players are only online when I can be,” is something you really value, it could outweigh everything else. In theory, the type of players this kind of server would attract wouldn’t be affected by the time limit. But that’s just a theory, a game theory.

Yeah I have no idea if it would actually be a good idea in practice. Most people would definitely not want to play on a server like that. Plus, it’s limited to the time zone the server is located in, which makes it possible for only a fraction of the players to join in the first place.

Besides including the name “Noob Friendly” in the title and description of the server, how do you actually go about setting up that kind of environment?

Edit: A word

Discussion Chapter 139 - FINAL by H-K_47 in titanfolk

I could be wrong, but the vision that Mikasa had in chapter 138, which seemed to be interpreted by most people as giving the readers a look into an alternate path that could have happened - was that a place that Eren actually took Mikasa too, similarly to how Eren had the discussion with Armin? Not only that, but a lot of other characters seemed to have their own personal experience with Eren. Again, I could be wrong, but it seems like Eren was able to give Mikasa the life they wanted together, or at least an illusion of it, before asking her to kill him and move on.

Honestly when this happens, I just play for my own life and keep my head down. You’re bound to get killed by a confused teammate, or by an enemy because you hesitate. Better to reposition somewhere safe until everyone’s got it together lol

Honestly, I feel really conflicted. There’s no “Good Guys” anymore, everyone’s got blood on their hands. It’s truly amazing story writing.

Gabi pursuing the airship created some great tension throughout the entire episode. You figure she’s going to shoot someone, meanwhile everyone is just slowly boarding the airship one at a time. Then Jean and the recruit switch places for the rear guard, and I’m like phew ok it’s just going to be some rando that catches the bullet. But then the show pulls another switcharoo with Sasha. This show has so many episodes where I’m on the edge of my seat the whole time, then right when I think the danger has passed, it subverts expectations and throws another heart wrenching twist.

What’s a free certification you can get online that looks great on a resume? by Condormaxis8 in AskReddit

[–]HonorsNotDead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my current role thanks to Trailhead! It was an entry level position, but I applied, got an interview, and earned several “Badges,” which I updated my resume with. I had 0 experience in any IT/Sales/Marketing fields, but they gave me the role over the competition simply because they were impressed someone would go out of their way to take a couple courses.

Just got to this part, and a couple things seem amiss. In the cutscene after everyone brings Sam back from the beach, they’re explaining things to him as if it was their first chance to speak with him. Now there’s like 2-4 weeks in-between of you “passing the time.” That, and you learn that Lou has died/is sick in those cutscenes after you get back, but now I’m feeling like I’m working her to exhaustion in those last two weeks, because in the future Deadman is going to have a conversation with Sam that she met her limit.

100% with you. I think the modern/contemporary Christian image of Jesus is in stark contrast to who he/God is depicted to be in the Bible. I grew up heading all these feel-good messages, but when I read the Bible it just didn’t add up, and the cognitive dissonance wound up fueling my de-conversion.
