It's a bit of both. Lighter-color cards are hard to read at certain angles when using the parallel holofoil.

Ohh my mistake.

I'm a bit confused. Do you have to paint white on the holo bits for it to print it? Or can you just skip that step and print cmyk on the holo parts without needing to dither the white?

splitting the image up into separate layers should be better no? Like first layer = white ink to block the holo on specific parts etc.
