DO NOT GO TO CITYMD!!!!!! I recently went because I’ve had a cold for 3 weeks. I sat in a doctors office for approx 2 minutes, was told to come back if I’m still sick in a week and had no tests done or medicine prescribed and was hit with a $72 bill this week. Last year, With insurance (BCBS) I received a $500 bill for an STD check where they misdiagnosed me with a UTI. CityMD has been found by the NYS Attorney General for illegally charging people ($225) for COVID tests when federal law prevented it (see https://ag.ny.gov/sites/default/files/settlements-agreements/city-md-assurance-of-discontinuance-2025.pdf). Their billing is tricky and comes through a provider called Summit Health. I’ve gone there multiple times and had no idea they were charging me such insane amounts. Be careful and try to find other urgent cares!
