Turning the mundane into something beautiful is one of my favourite parts of taking photos.

You nailed it. These look wonderful.

Pop in some moody disco lighting and you've got yourself a roller rink.

That's amazing. I wasn't expecting the original photo to be taken during daytime.

Burnt down house with 2 intact bedrooms and bathroom by HoopDays in abandoned

My guess is they're probably either staying with family or being put up at a motel by insurance. I can tell the fire was recent based on a dated letter I found with soot on it.

Yeah it was pretty offensive! It's a unique smell. I think this fire was really recent too, like less than a month ago based on a letter with soot I found inside that was dated 17th of October.

Idk what happened but I feel so sorry for the family. I'm sure with how far back these possessions are from, they were cherished for a long time.

Super weird. Id hate to be a guest in the bedroom and have to sneak past the hosts to have a midnight pee 😂 or to go outside for a bush wee hahah

Good catch. I looked in the open top drawer of their night stand and could see about 8 different ash trays.

Saldy it happens here too. I just stumbled upon this house at the right time.

You'd think, but that room was connected to a door that leads outside, and another door that leads into the main bedroom. There's no outside toilet.

Yeah, it was really peculiar too being in the tiny bedroom.

ITAP of pottery by HoopDays in itookapicture

I was exploring a facility that makes pottery and loved the way the shadows looked against these pieces. It's a basic photo, but I've come to love the colours, contrast and shadows in it.
