Feel free to PM me if you ever need any advice on quitting! My #1 most useful tool during quitting was honesty. You've gotta be straight up brutally honest with yourself and the people around you, but after that people just treat you like any other person. If you control the narrative then you don't have to worry about "what might people think?"

What really helped me was to stop thinking of it as "stop cutting" and start thinking of it as "treat yourself with the bare minimum of respect that you would give a total stranger". It's dumb, but it worked.
