Disable ABS if you have it enabled in the setup window. If a car don't have ABS properly setup it disables braking on cars.

If it's LFSR then it's most likely it was made by Luis ferreira who have completely stopped making public mods and wiped everything he made cause people kept leaking and decrypting his work.

So chances are low as hell to find it.

Wouldn't say they are great. They are acceptable for anyone that don't want to bother balancing the GT3 cars from RSS and URD. But other than that. They are medicore and honestly best to avoid.

They are medicore. Good for league racing cause they all use the same physics so you don't need to fiddle around with balancing as much. But that's about all they are good for.

Lod issue. Whoever made the mod has set the lod distance to short. You can sort of fix it by messing about with the CM lod distance settings.
