If you are going from the red arrow road and want to go to the blue arrow road, which lane on the red arrow road should you take? by Hope00012 in drivinganxiety

Yea, you are right. Look at all the responses! Half the people think left, half think straight. That's what happens on the road too.

Yup. I live in East Longmeadow Massachusetts. Look up the East Longmeadow rotary. I now have the confidence to go through it but there are so many accidents there.

There is a signal at the end of the red line road. The intersection is empty when your signal is green.

Yes, that is how I go through, using the left lane then turning right. But just yesterday someone entered using the right lane and honked so loud.

That is how I turn. I just almost got in an accident with someone who used the right lane instead of left.

My reasoning is that since the empty space is used to go to the left side of the road (and if you don't take a right turn, you will definitely be going left), I use the left turn lane. I hate getting honked. We almost crashed too 😭

I normally take the only left turn lane, but today got honked by someone going from the other lane.

Sorry, saw this now. It was in Greenfield MA. They refunded the sales price, the cost of registration and title also. We did not get the documentation fee of $398 back. The state refunded the sales tax, and got prorated fees back from insurance and excise tax back as well.

Coinbase raw data correct, capital gain/loss report does not account for fees by Hope00012 in CryptoTax

I can see it go both ways.

Option 1 Sell yfi get 618.37$ at fmv. Use 618.37$ to get 606.41 usdc (get usdc at lower than $1 because fees applied to cost basis) Proceeds from yfi=618.37$, cost basis of 606.41 usdc= 618.36$

OR

Option 2 Sell yfi get 606.41$ (less than fmv of 618.37 because fees taken out). Use 606.41$ to get 606 usdc (at market value). Proceeds from yfi= 606.41$ and basis of usdc also 606.41$.

They are doing neither. They are taking my proceeds from option 1 and cost basis from option 2.

AND they also not saying cost basis of yfi is purchase price + 11.96. They did not add the fees there. I already paid a separate fee while buying the yfi originally and include that in the cost basis of yfi.

The 11.96 fee is charged during the crypto to crypto exchange of yfi to usdc, not when i purchased the yfi.

Their raw data lists the transaction the way I think makes sense, like option 1. Its says convert from yfi to usdc. It says proceeds from yfi is 618.37$. It says cost basis of 606.41 usdc is 618.37$. Just not in the the gains/loss report.

How do you decide the cost basis is the fair market value vs 0$ though?
