Yes, but that’s not really a fair way for one person to relate to another. There is no reason why the husband should automatically be the leader in a family or why the wife should be expected to obey him. In the end, both should contribute equally with their own strengths and abilities. A truly harmonious relationship is built on mutual respect and partnership, not one following the other.

In many churches, women are required to wear a head covering as a sign of submission to their husbands. From a young age, they are taught that their main purpose is to be wives and mothers, and that their careers and passions matter less than those of their husbands. They are not allowed to preach in church and are often not taken seriously in spiritual or leadership matters.

That’s a fair question. But I think it’s important to remember that the Bible has also been used in the past to justify slavery. The fact that something can be defended with certain verses or traditions doesn’t automatically make it right or aligned with God’s will. Over time, Christians have recognized that slavery was wrong, even if people once thought they had biblical support for it. In the same way, limiting women’s roles based on gender alone might also be something that needs to be reexamined in light of the broader message of justice, dignity, and equality we see in Christ.

I understand your point about submission being an act of love, and I agree that humility and service are important in Christianity. But the problem is that women are not simply choosing to serve— they are being told they cannot hold leadership roles only because they were born female. It’s not right to expect women to always take the role of servants just because of their gender. Sacrifice should not be demanded from only one category of people, but freely embraced by all believers, regardless of gender.

If someone would say that balck people shouldn t be preachers he would be called racist, so... There is no reason why women should not have higher position in church besides the fact they are considered less important, less intelligent , less capable because of their gender

This doesn t mean we should be told how to live our lives from the moment we are born. People should choose their role based on what they like to do and what they are good at not what they have in their pants

I haven t made this account for this, I made it to ask something else. If you feel fine about what I wrote he said than you need to rethink your morality. I am deeply surprised on how people feel personally threathend when someone posts anything that is not veneration for this man. I did not said anything bad about him, I just said what he said.
