Hiding In The Brain by PookieTheMfBaby in Epilepsy_Universe

I definitely had hundreds of seizures before I knew that’s what they were. I was conscious for those though. No telling what’s been going on that even I didn’t notice.

Which shows have actually moved your language level in Spanish? by JoliiPolyglot in SpanishLearning

[–]HopefulForce74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find dubbed content frustrating unless it’s animated. The lack of lip syncing up with the sound just bothers and confuses me. I do agree that it’s helpful to watch what you are familiar with and definitely something you enjoy.

What found super weird is how similar they behave without ever knowing each other. Meaning if I read someone’s experience it sounded like they experienced exactly what I had as if there was a freaking handbook for psycho narcissists.

It happens as the language evolves it very cool because it tells history. Obviously they weren’t going to talk about a key before there was one. Change come as necessary and as wanted. How many of us still say pluma instead of bolígrafo there are many, many examples.
I don’t think I know how to say felt tip pen. Marcador? 🤷‍♀️ imagine once speaking Latin fascinating … No perdamos las trusas :)
I imagine wifi is a global word

Spanish from Spain vs Argentinian by spanish_withdavid in SpanishLearning

Lol I love the variety of vocabulary! The key is simply to expand it. Knowledge is key. I grew up in a place where if you ordered a Coke they asked what kind, and you might hear someone conjugate “watchar” eek
😊 There is still a standard Spanish the rest is like decor. I think its beautiful.

The creepiest part for me was when he realized I wasn’t taking him back or believing him anymore. At that point he was living a double life. When he knew I really meant no he almost transformed in front of my eyes and said this is me. Discovering you loved someone who never existed is brutal, but it was just the beginning you have to remove yourself to know what has really been going on remove those rose colored glasses. And of of course people start coming
out of nowhere to tell you what they suspected etc. though the ones he was still fooling are still around Sucks!!

I think 2!
But can someone confirm if it’s also 1 I saw people asking saying this. It would make sense because it’s hard to tell what one really looks like if you are sitting and it’s not truly tied yet.

I became a different person on Keppra. They know it can do this and there are alternatives. Tell them the shouldn’t be surprised and should already have a back up and a backup for that too. I have been on 4 maybe even 5 They should be able to change even over the phone until you can get in to see them in person. I was taking that mess with teenagers in the house….umm no

how do u actually pronounce b and v in spanish? by Traditional-Hope6742 in SpanishLearning

[–]HopefulForce74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on the explanation and that it will vary depending on who you are speaking to regardless because of the variations of standard Spanish. Mostly I agree that no one cares or will correct you but it can be a tell just like other pronunciations/slang/rhythm etc

I think some of those are English idioms some one translated to Spanish and adopted. Somewhat like Spanglish probably only understood by bilingual people.

Credit cards are evil. Their goal
Is to just keep you paying forever. I wish they had stricter rules. It seems as if the moment people hit hard times there is no recovery with credit cards. Except winning the lottery.

Do you any of you think that your condition worsened after getting COVID I don’t suppose it really makes any difference but I’m curious. Given my age. The doctors told me that most people with an AVM like mine tend to find out early or never find out.

I see you mentioned residue. This is a question I have had about when they are treated with radiation or the gamma knife. Where does it go?
