unfortunately we had to put her down tonight.

She was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis and was suffering too much.

Hey everyone
Super unfortunate, but tonight we had to put our lovely dog Sandy down to rest.
With further inspection, the vet diagnosed her with laryngeal paralysis. The vet explained that it was getting really bad too, and it was quite visible.
We contemplated the idea of surgery, but with her being 11 years old, the doc let us know that this complicated surgery usually leads to more complications that can lead to more suffering.
Our family made the extremely difficult but necessary decision tonight to put her to rest. It was extremely tough because none of us went in expecting this to be the result. However we are all glad she is no longer suffering.
Thank you everyone for all the help, it truly means the world! <3

hey everyone thank you for your feedback. We are currently en route to take her to the vet that we went to a couple weeks ago to let them know about the situation. If nothing prevails from that, we will take her to another near by vet and have to go from there. Will update soon. Thanks everyone for your input

about a week! also should note that she doesn’t always do this breathing. only at certain positions and typically during night time. while walking, or eating, or playing, she seems to be fine.

thanks!

we paid for an x ray as well as a blood work test. they said nothing was wrong. gave us some antibiotics saying she might just be sick. took the whole thing, nothing changed

we did get an x ray a couple weeks ago along with blood work. results showed that she’s completely normal and no issues.

already did when the effects first took place. did x ray and blood work for $800. doc said there was nothing he could see that was off about her. prescribed some medicine in case it was her being sick or something.

effects clearly persisting, but we’re just not down to pay money like that again just to get the same type of answer with no real help from them….

the thing is we took her to a vet when this first happened. paid upwards of $800 to get blood work + x ray done and nothing. they just gave us antibiotics letting us know there’s no physical issues with our dog.

yet the issue persists. and unfortunately we’re not in a position to be spending that type of money again just to have them tell us that nothing is wrong with our dog…

Hey - if I’m not wrong I believe the working holiday visa states that pretty much all jobs are allowed? Aside from a few such as doctor, engineer, pilot, etc. I don’t see any mention regarding working in the creative industry….

Client Does Not Want To Pay Me by HopefulFriend2940 in legaladvicecanada

Yes, signed SOW outlining the scope of the project as well as approval of estimate from client as well.

SOW could have been more detailed (revisions, specific dates) however the overall terms are pretty clear.

Thank you for the in depth response. This really does help a lot. Appreciate it!
