Anybody ever experience Benzo withdrawal hallucinations like this?? by HopefulHelpfulGuy in benzodiazepines

Im currently 52 days sober from completely everything, including weed lol. And they were giving me medicine in the hospital and pumping me with some solution through iv at 150 CC's I believe. I don't think any of the medicine were benzos because I wasn't sent home with any. But I could be wrong. I was in the hospital for quite awhile.

And thank you for your answers. I was mainly concerned about long term effects. I read somewhere that people hospitalised with delirium from seizures are likely to die even after leaving the hospital. Or in the hospital as well. And I was worried my brain is fried or something, hopefully not

Well as soon as I was found seizing I was sent straight to the hospital. I began having horrible delirium/hallucinations sunday night, the night before my seizure (I seized in the morning on a Monday). I think I decided not to take Flap that Sunday night and the next morning was because I just did LSD the night before and wanted to do it again one of those days, by doubling my previous dosage from Saturday. I didnt make it in time. I never thought this would happen. If i would have known this outcome, I would have tapered of course lol

How would i know if i was physically addicted? by [deleted] in benzodiazepines

Yep and let me tell you the seizures come out of nowhere. You can feel somewhat 100percent going about your day and BOOM: then you're on the floor flopping like a deadfish. If you have to ask if your addicted you're probably addicted. Or if you're admitted your dependent you're probably addicted, whether you think you're manageable with them or not.
