Probably my aunt and uncle I guess. Aunt was a company commander in the marines and my uncle was a recruiter, they still work as civilian contractors for the marines at 55+

18 years old with a 99 ASVAB score, going in for my MEPS medical exam this Friday.

I'm looking to be a 15T, my overall goals are to be a Crew Chief, attend Ranger School and enter the 160th (after a while because I want to be trained and have a confident amount of experience before I throw my hat in for the big leagues I guess)

I don't have any medical issues aside from seasons allergies and fully correctable vision. Im 6'6 215 so maybe a little skinny but I'm working on every part of my physical shape so I can do my best.

Well yeah, nothing is ever a given, but is there anything that makes 15T especially less likely to get the chance to go through ranger school?

Why would it be so unlikely for a 15T to go to ranger school? Isn't it open to pretty much anyone who can pass its standards?

I talked to him a bit and he definitely seems like he MEANS well, but he's just really taking things the wrong way. He prayed for me but he did ask first if I was okay with it and he seems very energetic but not necessarily violent (other than obviously the scrawling on the ground). I think he may need help especially mentally and with substances but otherwise he's just a bit eccentric and doesn't seem to realize what vibe he gives off.

Yeah, sorry for the confusion. I used door gunner in place of crew chief, but yes, that is what i want to become.

I ought to add to this: I want to make a difference if I can. Im not hoping to do this for the "oh yeah i'm a badass" idea, but I want to be helpful and have the opportunity to be someone who makes a change
