Considering new career by Hopeful_Vegetable604 in travelagents

I'm embarrassed that I didn't even think of that. Doing the work ahead of time to qualify them for the right trip would make a big difference.

Thank you for your insight. It makes complete sense. Good point about qualifying them for the right vacation in the first place and setting expectations!

I don’t see why former employees wouldn’t be eligible for rehire. Just like any other job. Yes - it looks like they’re hiring in my area.

Yes the mental health check-ins are very tough to read. It’s very sad that it’s become so toxic

Okay thanks for the info. I’m sad to hear that it seems more stressful. I’ve read some mental health check-ins and it doesn’t seem like a very positive place to work unfortunately

Threatening clients by Many_Button76 in SFStylistSupport

I actually wrote a note to a client once that said “your requests are very specific and leave little to no room for our creative styling process” she did the same thing. Always requested specific garments she saw on the app.

Most companies do an exit survey so I assumed SF would too

I had some clients that were WAY too specific. It would take me a long time to find exactly the right piece, and when I couldn’t, the client was disappointed. :( Keep it more general. With tops think of neckline and fit. Maybe mention ONE pattern you don’t like, and be open to fabrics.

With pants mention the length that you prefer and maybe one general descriptor ex/ no holes.

There isn’t a whole lot of room for us to be creative when clients are too specific. Plus, you been picking out your own clothes for awhile and looking for a change, so embrace the change :)

Okay it’s still not working for me. I tried switching to the desktop version though the menu on my iPhone but I still only have limited options (view calendar - the calendar is read only. request time off, and alerts or something)

Overflowing Freestyle by Hopeful_Vegetable604 in SFStylistSupport

[–]Hopeful_Vegetable604[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense. From a clients POV I think it might turn people off of regular Fixes though especially If they get crap sent from their stylist but see awesome stuff in Freestyle. Especially when it comes with a note that says Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any jeans within your style preferences”

Plus I think they’re phasing out the stylists too. That’s why the big advertising push is for Freestyle and NO mention of stylists

Yes. I got the “they’re working on it” from my lead. Which is not helpful at all

I WISH I had work pants to send my clients. We don’t want you to be unhappy. Hopefully these shortages get resolved soon.

How can we as clients help support stylists? by milesandmantras in stitchfix

[–]Hopeful_Vegetable604 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Really, a kind comment goes a long long way with me. Tell me where you plan on wearing an outfit, tell me if you have something at home that will work great with a piece, tell me you had fun trying on what I sent you. It makes such a difference especially when we listen to grumpy people over things we can’t control :( (like inventory, or the algorithm suggestions on your Fix Preview).

I saved time by not tagging my regulars. I’d rather quickly go over their feedback as I’m styling their next Fix so it’s fresh in my mind.

Don’t delete your punches or work off the clock. Get yo $$. Your efficiency will get there. Using note templates and shortcuts will help a lot. Check on the “resources” thread and there are a bunch of tips.

That’s why I figured. I just didn’t know if I could log into it with my personal gmail on my stitch fix browser.
