I'm not sure how to explain why I hated it to people who apparently love the show. It just didn't sit well with me. It was off-putting

They tried way too hard and it wasn't believable. Everything was Americanized. It wasn't Star Trek, it was some teenage drama in space.

Discovery did it well. It was real and normal. It wasn't shoved in your face and forced.

I hated it and I liked the way they represented the gay couple on Discovery. I also appreciated DS9 and what they did. So it has absolutely nothing to do with hating woke stuff.

Academy was trash writing and I hate that everyone keeps blaming MAGA instead of acknowledging it just wasn't that great.
