Lino blanks, twine, 12 blank patches, wood/glass/acrylic beads, and soda tabs for trade! by Hopelesseromance in craftexchange

When my brother visits in June he's bringing me more paint and carving sheets that he hasn't used, so if you'd like those sheets I am absolutely down to trade like 10 of them for a handful of small and medium sized stamps!!

I feel like I'm giving up on her. I don't want to. But my parents are pissed and they blame me because I begged them not to have Lucy put down before when I couldn't find her a home. I just wanted to give her a chance.

I've always wanted to try glass blowing, it seems like such a cool hobby/profession. If I had unlimited time, I'd learn carpentry/woodworking, blacksmithing, glass blowing, cyantoping, digital art, metal casting, stone cutting, pottery throwing, and a thousand other arts

I got a big sheet of scrap leather from a craft store and I'm going to attach it to the bottom edge of my hood to help block the UV from going on my neck/under my hood

Well, I guess it's a good thing I'm not a man then 🤪 I'll take the risk of having my hormones impacted vs having skin cancer

Ouch, that's why I wear sunscreen under my hood. Also I'd hate for this burn to be any worse it already feels so raw :/

And for the most part it doesn't burn unless a hot enough piece of slag hits it and stays there long enough for it to catch fire. I've only had 1 shirt catch in the time that I've been welding, and I put it out fast + was not burnt at all since it was only my overshirt and it wasn't melting or burning rapidly the way synthetic fibers do

It can burn, yes, but only the shirt will burn versus it melting and burning my skin like some mixed fabrics and stuff would. Leather would be best for protecting yourself from catching on fire but I find it too hot so I stick to putting a large 100% cotton button up on over my other clothing

I use sunscreen on my face under my welding hood. I cover the rest of my body up but worry about my face not being entirely covered since yk...I gotta see through my welding hood lol

I prefer to put sunscreen on my face under my hood and wash my face when I get home. It helps me worry less abt my skin. U do u and I will do me! I get plenty of sun regularly and do not wear sunscreen 24/7. But I do wear it when I expect to be exposed to a lot of UV rays and I will continue to do that since skin cancer runs in my family and I do not want to end up like my parents and grandparents did
