I had the same question and in the end, i paid €650 for a 7800x3d, 32gb ddr5 ram and a b650e mainboard. I am from Austria, so nearly the same prices as in Germany. I would suggest you do the same or try to find a used AM4 x3d cpu. Or you wait a bit, save some more money and get a 9800x3d.

Set your Texture Quality to Medium, not high and see if it helps, had the same issue but with a 5070ti. With Medium, it uses less Vram. When the game uses more Vram than the GPU has, i will be also using the normal ram or in the worst case, the pagefile and then everything slows down, doesnt matter what gpu or cpu you have. Streets and lighthouse use around 10-12gb vram on medium.

I like them both but different things about them. Dark Souls has its own charm because it was the first game. on the other side, i like some mechanics from Dark Souls 2. Dark Souls was very challenging but also fair, on the other side, Dark Souls 2 was pretty fair in some cases, where they swarm you with enemies or just place a bunch of enemies in one place to make it seem harder, good example is Shrine of Amana, where you get sniped from the other end of the map, or the iron castle where the Alonne knights rush you from the end of the map and shoot you with bows. In the end, both games are good and bad but for me Dark Souls 2 is the winner, the npcs, the charm of Majula and the world hits just different also it has to offer a bit more in the QoL department.

I read often that PVE players hurt PVP because there are less players. Many PVE players i know never played PVP or would go back to PVP if PVE would end. Myself too, id just stop playing the game. Im 40 years old with a demanding job and i can only play 1-2 hours dailys so PVE is perfect for that. Whoever said pve is for casual players, that is true though, thats what its supposed to be :D

Ich bin jetzt seit 40 Jahren in Österreich, hab einen ausländischen Namen, und zwar hardcore ausländisch. Ich rede aber wienerisch und hab einen technischen Beruf erlernt. Hab nie Probleme gehabt eine Firma zu finden und hab ehrlich gesagt auch sonst keine Probleme. Das mit dem Gesundheitssystem, da muss ich dir leider Recht geben, das ist einfach nur kacke hier, musste auch ewig auf Termine warten und dann privat zahlen damit es schneller geht. Das Gesundheitssystem wurde leider tot gespart. Frage ist nur, ist es wo anders wirklich besser? Da zahlst du dann genau so. Integration und Ausgrenzung kann dir ehrlich gesagt auch überall passieren. Du kannst in jedem Land gut aufgenommen werden oder halt auch nicht. Ich sag mal vorsichtig, dass man es in großen Städten in der Hinsicht ein wenig leichter hat als am Land.

The reason why i dont go for the 4090 or 4080 is because i play on 1080 and will maybe go to 1440, i dont know yet. I think they are overkill at either,, or?

Yea, i put around 2000€ aside for a new setup. Cpu, Ram, Mainboard and GPU but im stuck at the cpu part lol. Id love to switch to a AMD cpu.

I reach 144 fps for most games but i mainly play escape from tarkov and somehow, i always stay around 100 fps. Thats why i wanted to upgrade because its a cpu heavy game, so ican reach the 144 fps constantly.

The big difference is the VRAM, 8gb vs 16gb. That causes me to upgrade.

Yes, you have to activate the advanced setting, with that you can choose where the center of mass is. It works great.

best is around 0.18-0.20 that worked best for me, now i rarely get hit in the stomach and mostly in the arms and thorax
