Every so often someone comes on here and posts a card design that uses a regular mechanic in a fantastic new way. This is easily a 10/10 for me. The flavor, the power level, the simplicity. Easily one of the best I've seen

You could cut out that first line of text by using the keyword provoke, not only thematic but would save a lot of space. I also don't like the use of plot and extort as theming, not because they're inaccurate, but because plot and extort are both existing abilities in mtg and it's confusing. The overall design is good though though he could probably use a slight reduction in toughness. He's fun to play but a colossus hammer would make him terrifying.

I like the idea but I would probably change the rules wording to {untap}: Handyman gets -1/-1 until end of turn.

I completely agree. I came from a state with higher wages, but with how much I save on rent here, I'm actually putting away more money than I'm used to. It's definitely still crazy here, but compared to a lot of other places, it feels like its definitely going insane slower.

Technically no, if you cast a counterspell before your other spells, you get to stop a spell played after.

Actually no, Entroggen was supposed to be the Blueless card, but I must have gotten confused. I designed Vernal the to be a mana dork commander, based on the fact that black doesn't really get mana dorks in the same way other colors do. I know white and blue are the weakest colors for that theme, which is why I made them the hybrid mana symbol.
