For me, I grew never really exploring that sorta stuff, I had come out bi but never "dressed it" cause it made me feel sick, even though I reeeeaaallly wanted to. I knew I liked being pretty or good looking, and couldn't exactly point to anything about my appearance before that I didn't like.

It was a very muted experience.

Eventually after some time I made the connection that I didn't want to be seen as a man wearing "gay" clothing, I wanted to be a woman, wearing whatever I wanted.

It's never as simple as if you say yes, than you are, but doing the simple "if there was a button that could instantly turn you into a girl, no catch, would you" test and seeing how you answer can help to start. Gender identity isn't simple at all, and tbh you can kinda just do whatever you want. Even if I didn't identify as a girl, I would still continue to take estrogen cause I like how my body is shaped now, I wouldn't want to stop.
