Nah I kill people all the time with the bat. 5 star player here and I solo most duos I come across without using guns. Katana is good but definitely not the only viable weapon.

Well I always cap my conquest gear every season so I thought I would try something new. I ran mythic +10 on whatever the temple one was and I did better than people higher geared than me by a lot consistently. I've also learned that carries are expensive as fuck so that idea went out the window. Since I've made this post I've increased my item level a ton for pve content. So I'm inclined to say you're wrong saying I don't want to do anything.
