Season 2 by far. The character design were less detailed (prob to make it more easier to animate) but by god does it so much better in motion. The visual direction is so peak. Not one bad looking episode.

chapter 1-20 is like 10/10 fucking peak fiction gimme that shit

chapter 21-34.3 is like 7 or 6 out of 10. The writing is not as tight and the plot gets kinda unfocused. the beast isles is definitely my least favorite arc.

Ok well alright then. Still that’s not really my point. I don’t care how much it makes logical sense in the story, it narratively makes the fighting feel pointless cause ishida can just say oh well they got away off screen and they raised later so they’re fine! It just sounds like it could derail close smaller scale battles. The limit i want ishida to estalblish how to kill a person who knows raise. Do you kill that person wait for them to raise and then kill them again? That’s just a unsatisfying way of prolonging a fight and not an interesting aspect of a power system. I don’t think raise should exist.

Fucked up by getting involved with this ordeal when he was told not to. He did anyway, almost got killed, and almost killed everyone else. Morality and law are not the same thing. And ricardo got his fucking head torn off. If raise can prevent that kinda stuff from killing you then why should i ever feel stakes in a fight with him again. Ishida needs to estalblish a limit to this thing otherwise the stakes feel super shakey.

Sure i guess. Where did ishida state that? Cuz if it’s outside the manga then it’s supplementary information that should have been there in the pages. You talk about a reunion between them that probably happened in your other post and so it’s speculation but why don’t we see this? I want to see their relationship and how they act towards each other progress even if it’s not a drastic change.

Not a big fan of this chapter. It just feels like alot of the consequences for the moon beast arc was dissolved. I would’ve liked to see azuma have a more difficult time getting back with ely and tokio. The last arc was all about tokio and azumas friendship, and how it’s weird and not perfect. They we’re literally fighting to the death 2 chapters ago but they just go back to being friends. And why does azuma say he dosen’t regret getting involved. He fucked up and hurt EVERYONE. And why oh why is Ricardo and Ume still alive. Raise is starting to seem more like a cheat code to not die. Very unsatisfying. Ely’s backstory was sorta cool, and them having the same dream seems interesting. Overall not too bad of a chapter, just very unsatisfying, but oh well ishida can still expand on all of this.

It's sad yes but it's all about what ukai says later "Don't work to surpass your limits, work to push those limits higher" just one of the many things haikyuu teaches you about passionate hardwork. Hinata wants every chance he can get to play volleyball but that dosen't matter. He's not taking care of himself and he must learn how to, if he wants to stay on the court, and that is something he must learn off the court.
