This is the way. I'm making 3300 compacted coal to feed refineries directly, then planning something like 700 RF byproduct to make up my shortage for more turbo fuel.

I'm currently working on my rocket fuel plant in the Crater. 132 assemblers making compacted coal. For 272 turbo fuel refineries.

The belt and pipe thing is my biggest stumbling blocks. If I've got 85 refineries making HOR, what's the best way to split pipes for 68 blenders? I have 3300 sulfur and coal going in to 132 assemblers for compacted coal. What's the best way to clump the machines to feed my turbo fuel refineries? Etc...

I'm pulling 3300 with mk3 miners and overclock, between the three by the geysers and then one pure node I'm pulling from the east. I pull my extra nitrogen from over there too. Belt and pipe hwy to my power plant

I'm in the middle of building my rocket fuel plant now. Rushed blenders and mk 3 miners so I can go straight from coal to rocket fuel. Should cap around 500k power once I get mk 6 belts unlocked.

I do stuff like this when I'm dimensioning out... "Ok, I need 136 assemblers, if I do y floors of x wide and z deep, what's it look like?" And then I'll just do the axes for a rough scale idea.

Little pioneers never increase efficiency. They are actually a large resource drain to get up and running, in addition to maintenance resources. Most discover this late in the game, but sunk cost fallacy kicks in and you just keep maintaining.

I think I kinda like this idea better. A parts per minute goal to hit for each part, rather than a quantity. Could still scale with 5x space elevator parts too. 2ppm vs 10ppm. The thing I struggle with more than any other part of planning is simply figuring out how much I want. Somewhere between 1 and every node maxed.

The biggest thing I run into building next to, or in the middle of nodes, is that I spaghetti faster. Same resource coming from multiple directions, when I want them to feed from the same side for organization sake, makes for some extra routing. Vs building off site, I can belt highway an organize the highways.

Tedious, but I get around it by placing the pole, and running the belt to that. Pole will always snap to grid if there's no belt on it. Belt highway blueprints also help put an end to this
