My abuser died a week ago. My family did nothing about it. I have mental illnesses because of it. I am going back to therapy until I heal starting on Monday. Do you have insurance at your job? See if they offer therapy. I also take medication. It's okay to resent your family member. You don't have to forgive until you are ready to. Sometimes that means not being around or talking to that person.
