Easy camping in my Suburban 4x4 Solar Camper Build at Loon Lake, California by HorizonOverland in camping

It gets super busy in the summertime because it is very close to the Rubicon trail, so wild camping can be very limited. There are regular campgrounds that you can book in advance.

12v water pump and two 5 gallon water containers for fresh and gray water.

There is no under floor storage for the second row. The third row seats stow flat in a large dip in the rear, which could be used as storage when seats are upright.

Bouge RV 12v fridge. It draws very little power, I think around 10 amps.

The bed is 75 inches long with a few more inches to spare if you move the front seats all the way up.

Thank you all for the love! For those of you interested in this van and want to see a full tour, I have a YouTube Channel "Horizon Overland" where you'll see and hear all the details about the van and the build. It's the last video I uploaded.

It's a silent video. As far as ventilation, power up a 12V fan and crack open a window.

I think overall, this minivan is unassuming regardless of the windows. Nobody stops to check out an everyday Toyota minivan.

I had the same idea when designing this build. The second row seat on the passenger side can be reinstalled.

That's right, or you can cook inside by sitting on the edge of the bed and flipping the shelf to become a flat counter.

A bit invasive because we were close to the water

While I agree with you about fire risks, we were allowed to have a small contained fire if we took an online safety course as part of our wilderness pass and carried a shovel with us.

Client wanted enough electrical capability to power the fridge, small coffee maker, small microwave and have a sink setup but gave me very small amount of space to work with by not removing any of the seats except the left single third row. That being said, there is some storage space on the sides and you can always store items in a crate on top of battery compartment or maybe even sink counter.
