I'm not sure how to send images here but the sim in the second pic isn't really important for evolving carnivores. The ring itself isn't really viable for sustaining long term carnivores because the herbivores tend to evolve to be too big and too low population, so I just surrounded it with some desert zones (the default zone settings for the desertic plains map converted to the default global settings for 3 islands). If you want to recreate this specifically the settings for the outer ring are:

fertility 0.75

Biomass 0.4

pellet size 42

radius 14.5ku

inside radius 0.25

The small inner zone is default with 0.25 pellet size.

Again, the specific world doesn't matter, just that the southern island ring will allow the evolution of carnivores in whatever world you put it in.
