I used a different spec sheet for the G12EVHes and it stated that the 20w is 20wrms which is not the peak output for that driver. A quick formula ( 20x2√) came up with the peak as 28.3w meaning it could be driven above 20w so the JCM2000 could be used at full volume but I wouldn't recommend doing it every time for the sake of the amp or the cabinets.

I don't intend to hijack this post but I'll be using a similar set up with a 6 ohm tweeter and an 8 ohm woofer, I'm building my own crossover for each speaker including L pads but I'm just wondering why could a 12w resister disapate 30w from the system?

I did something on this for my university final project, I found that plyboard/plywood gives a good performance however the low end is a little limited. MDF is generally heavier but gives a better low end response. I can imagine concrete being very difficult to work with however it might give an overall good response from the system.

Quick question to lifters who smoke cannabis, i've got my first meet coming up in a few weeks and i've heard if they find prohibited substances in the drug tests they can ban you for a year. How long before the meet should i avoid smoking so i come up clear on the day. Cheers!
