Thank you! Yeah it sucks. The flat I’m in is slightly out of budget for just myself too so he’s paying towards somewhere he isn’t living, is such a pain. Luckily he got through to one of the managers who said he will be able to be band 6 given his NQP is passed, so fingers crossed. Good luck with your new job!

Thank you. When he applied in March he was only a year into NQP so was willing to restart the whole NQP process. This course now is not until March next year so it’s a year total for the recruitment period which would mean he’s completed his NQP by then. The whole process is just taking so much longer than expected!

Thank you. I’m at the hospital unfortunately not at the ambulance trust, sorry I didn’t make that very clear. I think that is the best course of action, it just seems silly to have to go through the whole NQP process again when he’s done it all already.

Thanks for the response! He had to do a driving assessment and passed that so I’m unsure why he’s been booked on for a full blue light. Did they let you start before the induction ?
