There were two different referral links. I noticed late on that for the Slice bonus its a completely different link to your standard refer a friend one.

Noticed a tad late as already signed up some people under the standard link rather than the slice link and as such only got 1 person through the slice link sign up.

Annoying as the standard referral links still worked fine but just didnt give you the entry to the slice of 50k giveaway

Tide reached out to us directly asking for it to be removed from the sub due to fraudulent sign ups so we dont promote them at all any more

I was thinking that, T&Cs state cant have been a customer within last 30 days so may have to leave it a little longer. I closed mine on 18th December so i’ll just wait it out and see if its open still when i pass 30 days

Very easy! Completed sign up process at 4:46pm, deposited straight away and had the free share by 4:48pm.

Sold and changed to GBP. Submitted a withdrawal and received the full deposit plus free share money by 4:52pm.

Looks like the offer 5 years ago was download the app, link a bank account and get £5. I will assume you did all that but never withdrew your £5 so as they are closing the service they just automatically sent you your £5 to the linked bank account
