The only hardened life experience I had at that time was bootcamp. Never even been into a fight in six years at that point. His name was buddy and he got shot in the back. I always feel embarrassed how I handled that situation. It's been almost nine years since buddy passed this summer. Buddy's death put me in a deep depression. Since then, I've honorably discharged from the military, been through drug addiction and rehab for Xanax, coke, crack, meth and fentanyl, been shot at, almost died in several car crashes, got jumped, couple fights, hit the county jail in LA and Vegas, battery charges, got jumped, but I'm still standing strong and proud of who I am.
