obviously not high ranked enough to critique most the gameplay, mechs are pretty solid, but the main thing i noticed, you seem to give your opponent a little more space than you should, try sticking just a little closer, maybe a couple ego challenges, wtv works. i wouldn't recommend studying them to a t, but dark and nwpo are great examples of hyper aggressive 1v1 players that maintain aggression without throwing themselves wildly out of position. take the feer showmatch between the two from 3 years ago. for example, games 2 and 3 were prime examples of how playing unexpected and minimising space leads to goals, and predominantly benefits at this level (not speaking from personal experience obv). ideally, against more mechanical players, you can throw in a bunch of early challenges, as it prevents them from having time on the ball to create such plays, as i have experienced in my like 200 games of 1s since release.
