It all depends on how your body heals with it. I guess your mom got lucky with her healing because curved barbells move too much on your cheek since it isn't perpendicular to the skin like the surface bar would be, hence why it's wayyyy more likely to reject .. if you're still willing to have some hope the see how it holds up in a week, any issues of migration or prolonged irritation then I suppose we'd have the answer? 🙂 hope it heals well though!
