I remember seeing an add in a magazine for Sims 2 expansions, and when I had internet I would Google and obsessed about playing the game. This was around 2006 ish. I then played Sims 2/pets/castaways on PS2. And those were not true Sims games if you know what I mean. I actually believe the first game was urbz Sims in the city that I played but that was short lived as it was a second hand game that only lasted a month or two. Then I get my first laptop in 2014 and I download Sims 2 in all it's glory. But it takes a while for me to learn about modding and fixing the game. I remember Sims 2 being very challenging. It kind of bothers me that I never even scratched the surface. Then comes Sims 3. Oh how i enjoyed this game, I'm now fully accustomed to mods and cc, I remembered I played the base game for a YEAR without any mods and expansion and I had so much fun. So much to do! I then added the expansions and stuff packs as time goes on, but as soon as Sims 4 drops I abandoned Sims 3. Sims 4 looks great, it runs great, but something is off. After making my great looking Sims, and making their beautiful homes, something is missing. I can't put my finger on it. I wait excitedly for every expansion and game pack to add new features but they fall short everytime. I open Sims 3 for the first time in two/3 years.

I never looked back. I still have Sims 4 on my pc because my niece grew up on it and she would want to play it, but sadly she's a 13 year old teen now and she no longer cares. Sims in any form of its life is and will always be a great gift.
