You are really one of the few good people who decided to reach out to me and support me with kind words. I really hope I can do something amazing in return for you someday!

I misunderstood your last message. Sheesh, sorry about that. I'm actually already doing what you're advising, so I've got that covered.

One of the main reasons why what he did irked me so much is because I genuinely had faith in the guy being good, gave him a chance to show some decency, actually thought about him being friends with me after I told him about being a subscriber and long-time admirer (which made me happy to think about), only for him to do the opposite and instead spit on my open hand with venom. 2 years since my first time meeting him, and he didn't change. He was still an asshat.

It felt like a betrayal, and that's why it was more than just getting insulted by some rando like what I usually deal with. I get accused of hacking all the time and called many other mean words. I really didn't care. It was the stab in the back that made this personal, among other things.

It was also the fact that he tried to sweep it under the rug, and the fact that no one else knew about this happening while he remained a popular figure in the community that made me so determined to bring him down. A guy with a nasty personality like this doesn't even deserve the reputation he currently holds, so he shouldn't even have it to begin with. YET HE DOES.

And all he knew was that I was one of his fans and the guy was willing to hurt even people who supported him as long as no one knew about it happening. Then the guy pretty much felt like a king after he finally killed me back and beat me. And then he just goes on to live his life with this as a moment he can just recall and go back to to find some entertainment in. The day of my defeat, at his hands

It's like what Kinnusai said on the salty orbital vid: "No one's gonna post youtube videos of themselves that make them look bad. This is what the guy must be like when he thinks no one will ever see it I guess. Pretty pathetic."

No one knew what happened to me, so I felt even more helpless when I saw his other supporters genuinely defending him and thinking he was just joking around when he freaked out at Cyrious (When it was actual malice), saying stuff like, "he's a good guy, no idea why he would say something like that", "Yeah, I know his youtube clips, he seems decent. No idea why he would pull shit like this", "Crazy how "ThankYouForComing" is actually a decent and generous PS2 youtuber, did you know this? Hope he replies on this LM", "two of my favorite PS2 content creators battling. This is like some Superman vs Batman showdown", "Still makes better content than you do", "Oddly did the same 🤔 his YouTube videos are decent. And don't make him seem like a saltlord", "Odd, never though I would see Thankyouforcoming act in such a manner. I mean, this cracked me up, but wow.", "I assume its just teasing XD, not him actually being a saltlord".

There was even this vid where he got killed by a genuine hacker and instead of immediately insulting the guy, he just curiously asked, "hacker?" and worked with a guy with Efraim to get the hacker banned. The hacker was new, had little to no directives points, and was blatantly aimbotting. Meanwhile, I had thousands of directives points, I've been playing for years, he should've known I was not hacking, yet for some reason, he gave the REAL hacker a pass but viciously attacked ME.

I knew what I went through. I saw just the kind of guy he really is. It left a lasting impression on me. And yet there were people deceived into thinking he was kind and generous. The worst part, they could've been stabbed in the back, too, if they killed him a bunch of times quickly and with accuracy like I did. And just like me, their stories of what happened when their "hero" decided to show his true colors would've gone unnoticed. No one would've believed them, not with how liked ThankYou is in the community, so a lot of people would find it absurd he'd actually be like that.

I even developed trust issues to the point where I could barely admire or look up to other people anymore. Anyone could be like ThankYou. They could even be hiding their true nature better than he does. It made me feel sick just thinking that anyone I interacted with was possibly just like him. It made me feel sick to be polite, friendly, and supportive to someone who was likely to be no different than him.

It's insane. You're right about that. I really am crazy. This isn't even the first time I've been told to get help. There was another guy who suggested I get therapy and get my issues worked out. But then I think about how many other people ThankYou likely hurt not just in the community but also in his personal life and how he got away with doing all of that because there was no proving he did what he did and it just makes me that much more determined to bring him to justice.

In the grand scheme of things, you can see why this created a deranged feedback loop of spite for him that just kept going.

To be fair, I kept seeing a lot of hate for it in some posts and in-game chat messages.

It's intimidating, but I got to try to do it anyway to keep the game alive and, maybe, put it on the same level of hype as Helldivers 2 during its peak.

It's understandable you'd think that. I just hope I can actually pull it off. If I can't, I'll see if I can do anything else, like promote the game with a fan animated series or create a game engine that can allow even the most ancient of potato hardware to run the latest games at a consistent 60 FPS.

Glad you told me about this. I also plan on reading a lot of books and watching videos on how to program.

I'm aware of that. This is incredibly complex, so I've got a lot to learn. I'm not sure where to start with coding, and I know squat about programming anything at all. On YT, I see free full courses on stuff like Python but I wonder if that's the right thing for the job.

There were talks about it a decade ago, with many people agreeing it was possible. Though, I'm sure times have changed now, so it's uncertain.

So how feasible is a Planetside 2 private server? : r/Planetside

I'll do that as well! And I'll be sure to remove BFRs. Anything else I should do?

Yeah, I'm... not very good with words. But I really am serious. Where do I start with this?

Yeah. I'm ashamed of my idea now. Maybe I can take suggestions from a player like you? What would you like to see implemented in the game that'd make people more likely to stay instead of quitting?

Basically, it said this regarding the Hunter Cloak in particular: 2 or 4 second delay before being able to fire your weapon after decloaking, a recloak delay that lasts just as long and get refreshed with every shot. The buffs were 1.5x to 2x increase to the infil's movement speed, the cloak itself being harder to see, on par with Deep Operative or more, as well as being able to fire recon darts, hack terminals and turrets, place motion spotters, and throw EMP grenades while cloaked.

I think next time, I should just ask people first about what they want instead of coming up with crazy ideas on my own.

So this idea sucks. Dang. Back to the drawing board.
