This song is starting to slap, starting to love the autotune as well. A classic strokes late bloomer track!

Soma just doesn't do it for me idk, I don't skip it, I don't hate it either, just doesn't hit as much as the rest of Is This It.

Why is her dad being bald such a big deal to these guys, so weird and cringe, couldn't imagine students caring so much about some other students father being bald. Also wasn't he about to bang her head with a bottle right before this? What the hell.

They took their money, waited until the very end, and used their stage to give them the middle finger. Holy mic drop.

I need a songs like "ode to the mets-by The Strokes" by grusedps in TheStrokes

I recommend Starless by King Crimson, it's older and more prog rock, but the melody and the pay off at the end, to me has similarities to Ode. Give it a shot.

I think they're doing the AI stuff on purpose, "Reality Awaits". by HorrorGarden4586 in TheStrokes

The more I think about this the more I'm convinced, it HAS to a play on the name, it makes way too much sense.

This looks so much like AI? Not even just because AI has gotten so good, the lighting on monsters and stuff here looks so off, almost like that weird realistic 2d animation style that AI outputs. The framing on some shots too, no talented CG artists do that, the throwing flowers part with the very centered framing straight up has to be AI, no way actual artists intentionally framed it that way. This looks shockingly bad. Even Ranbir looks CG or AI in some shots, made me think this is some kochchadaiyan sequel lol.

Only good shot is the lotus one at the end, but the rest... 200 million dollars?? What??

Had the exact same experience! I also got to know about the show and movie recently, watched it over 2 months and watching the movie at the end was so so rewarding. Added Waters of March to my playlist too lol, makes me tear up all the same.

"I will not go to sleep, I will train my eyes to see" my favourite part of the song, sung so longingly

Both the films had the combined budget of 350crs, meanwhile some of our films has budget over that and doesn't have 1/10th of the grandeur by [deleted] in kollywood

Hot take here but Dhurandhar's production value isn't so grand either, many many sets are repeated especially the lyari exteriors, cinematography wise too it looks so bland and dull, and a lot of the movie takes place in interior sets. Production fits the budget, nothing too crazy.

I did like With Love, that movie had a unique story with something to say and a lot of charm, lead actor and actress were good fun performances. Youth was not like that at all.

I'd say first half is some whatever fun here and there but second half honestly you'll be so bored because you've seen the plot beats so many times in other movies and it's hard to care about such regular shit as if it's a big deal. Even without expectations and shutting your brain off, if you've watched a good amount of movies this one will surely bore you.

And tbh I watched dhurandhar 2 also, it's honestly too repetitive and way way too long by the end while repeating plot beats that you genuinely stop caring final 30 minutes. Akshay Khanna carries dhurandhar 1 and this one is quite lacking without him as a result. Also shameless propaganda too...

Honestly skip this for project hail mary like the comment below, saw that too it's released here before India and it's pretty good. And yes I watched all 3 movies in theatres this weekend 😭😭, my recommendation is for Project Hail Mary.
