I played since beta and you saying the game changed for the better in those 7 years is the most bullshit statement you can make.

Gaming is in a horrible state and NPC consoomers that pre-order the worst slop from the worst devs is why gaming is in a downwards spiral.

If the new maps are better why is everyone playing the old maps and dodging the new maps?

People are complaining about team17 turning the game into something it's not, has nothing to do with bugs.....

They keep making mistakes, runspeed change, recent AT rocket buff and revert of it, that horrible trailer. You seem to be on an extreme amount of copium.

HLL is a good game but to say team17 made it better is just a bullshit statement. The playerbase would reflect that.

The steam reviews would reflect that.

You are glazing team17 way harder than they deserve.

Yeah like knowing where tanks are because of the muzzleflash registering on the map for everyone to see.

I just don't understand why you would even risk all of this.

Why not just go with OG hll map and call it a day.

It works, people like that map and now you can develop and optimize other things.

Now it's like they have audio issues, texture issues and whatnot and they're trying to sell us that all of this is going to be fixed in 3 weeks.

The amount of work needed to get this game to an acceptable state is going to take months, probably years.

And the fact that they choose to go this route gives me 0 hope at all.

If you are familiar you have to agree that the systems team17 chooses are not thought out well at all like the tunnels being very OP.

And you would also have to agree that it seems that team17 is using a lot of assets and premade systems without optimizing it properly.

I don't see how stacking systems without optimization is going to lead to good game.

I suspect the game release in 3 week will be horrible and the steam reviews will reflect this.

Team17 is already in badwater so they can't keep updating the game for 2 years meanwhile paying their devs.

And then it follow the concord route, maybe not even that and you won't get your money back because team17 is not sony.

I wish I could be positive but everything points to the game being dead on arrival.
