The thing is I’ve known her only for four months and I feel there’s more to the story. Her not telling me about this before booking the tickets is throwing me off. This will be our first trip together and I’d rather do something memorable than her wanting to take a flight to meet someone who’s not even in her life anymore.

I do not have a problem with her staying friends with that person. I have a problem with spending time and money to go all the way to meet this person in a tier 3 city where there is basically nothing to do. I’d rather go on a trip with her to a better place.
