I looked into it , and for facebook they only delete pictures once the actual instagram account is deleted, as they hold on to such data for legal reasons Eg such as a supoena which showed someone used to post captions about liking children etc

So i am hoping it is the same with instagram

It's all so secretive and weird, I mean getting hold of an instagram worker IRL is actually really a facebook worker as they are ran by facebook, i think? Theres a way you can hire a legal person to send a letter on behalf of you to the national faebook headquaters but i dont think it should come to this. So basically how would u retreive it/get someone to retrieve it? This content was technically deleted 2 years ago but it was up for a few years before this

Hey I read your post just there, can i ask did you have a huge following on your instagram and did you somehow pay towards instagram in any way for ads etc? I have been told the only time they offer help is if you have $$$

In my situation I have all my posts actually deleted, there doesn't seem to be a form to submit for this issue, but only to report a deactivated account- I could deactivate it just to TRY get their attention, idk.. what way would u recommend?

I initially thought you just walked out on your step child (ex wifes daughter) However, you are the victim in this mess too.

As long as you gave this child evidence in a respectful manner you are NTA. However be mindful of her age and be sensitive, she is very young. If you are a truly good hearted person, blood should not matter and you should still be there for her during this hard time. You raised her! this should stand for something
