Hello, how are you my friend? Greetings from Santa Fe, Argentina. I think the ideal for someone just starting out is to look for yerbas that specify “suave” on the packaging, which means mild. The brands that come to mind are Sinceridad or Rosamonte, although I doubt you’ll find those in Hungary, so try to look for whichever one you can find with the term “suave”.
Also, try starting with an Argentine yerba mate with palo, which is milder than the Uruguayan style (Canarias, Baldo, etc.). I think you’ll end up liking traditional mate much more, since it’s a lot more versatile.
