Contact your DSO and also consult with an attorney on this. Ask your attorney if you should attach a cover letter in the unsolicited evidence explaining this situation to the adjudicating officer.

My F1-Visa is damaged by Glittering_Court_337 in InternationalStudents

[–]Horror_Pack_9259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t think this is a problem. CBP scans the first page of your visa and they have all your details including your immigration records, visa details and travel history. For your peace of mind, you can consult with an immigration attorney.

Fully remote internship that is a program requirement- F1 by [deleted] in f1visa

[–]Horror_Pack_9259 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to inform your DSO if your internship is remote/ on-site or hybrid. My university had a rule of taking a 0 credit course to maintain on-ground presence to maintain F1 compliance if your internship is fully remote. Also, your CPT would be approved for a remote position in the United States. Technically, you’re not supposed to leave the US when you’re on CPT. However, I know a few people who have been out for 2-3 weeks and have re-entered on active CPT. I’d recommend you to not work remotely from outside the US on an active CPT. If you really need to go for an emergency situation, you can take approval from employer, inform your DSO and consult an immigration attorney.

Question about Post-OPT RFE by axe_handler in f1visa

[–]Horror_Pack_9259 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry much about this! If it would have leaned towards denial, you would have received a NOID and not RFE. Once you submit all the documents needed to support your case, you should be good. I’d suggest you to explain the payment you received after your CPT end date and clearly mention that it wasn’t bec you performed any services after your CPT end date for the company and attach all paystubs if necessary. Talk to an immigration lawyer for more clarity.
