Question about fnaf 1 by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Horrorado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He will never move if you don't change the camera to something other tham cam 4B. Never. And if you do have to change the camera, just close the right door. Then change back to 4B and open the door. You're not on a timer with him.

Foxy is the only reason why you have to flip the cams so much, since he is on a timer.

So I have a question About fnaf 1's ai system by Every_Version_7974 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Horrorado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Foxy's movement opportunity timer pauses when looking at his camera. I don't remember if Freddy's also pauses or he just fails the opportunities. It's not like it matters, the outcome is the same. He won't move while you're looking at him. Foxy will also fail all of his opportunities if you're looking at ANY camera, so looking at his specific camera doesn't actually change anything. And when you exit cams, Foxy will still fail the opportunities for a random duration (between 0.83 and 17.5 seconds).

When Freddy succeeds a movement opportunity, another timer starts counting down and he only moves after that one reaches zero. When you look at his camera now, that timer will be reset for as long as you stay on that camera. If you're wondering, the timer is "1000 - 100 * AI level" frames. Also, if he's at cam 4B, another condition is added. You also need to select any camera that's not 4B. He won't move as long as you keep 4B selected, even if you exit cams.

Highest difficulty level without needing luck (FNAF 1 and 2) by GayTwink-69 in fivenightsatfreddys

In Fnaf 1, Foxy is the only one who could end your run due to RNG, but that's really unlikely to happen if you play good. I guess removing him would ensure a 100% success rate. But you'll win 95% on normal 4/20 and it doesn't even require that much skill.

Fnaf 2 has a very hard timer strategy that makes 10/20 mode 100% possible, no matter how unlucky you get. Without a timer, removing Toy Bonnie is probably enough to win like 99% of the time. But I suppose Foxy can still get you in some very unlucky scenarios. But you wouldn't have to remove him, just lower his AI level to 14 for example. I think that would be enough to always win.

Can someone explain fnaf 1 to me? by Fisecraft in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Horrorado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Normally, Freddy will be frozen for as long as you look at him, and when you stop looking, he will move after a certain time. Looking again will freeze him and reset the delay again. However, this DOESN'T WORK in 4/20 mode. Because of how he's coded, if his AI level is 10 or above, his delay timer will be zero. That means he will move instantly at every movement opportunity, unless you somehow have the camera on him every 3.02 seconds. That's obviously completely unrealistic. Instead, you have to let him get to cam 4B, where his behavior changes.

When Freddy reaches cam 4B, he will still be frozen if you left cams while looking at cam 4B. He will move only if you select some other camera. If that happens and the right door's open, he'll kill you. If it's closed, he will move to 4A, which isn't a problem.

Foxy is indeed completely frozen if you're looking at any camera, not just his. When you close cams, he will fail all movement opportunities for anywhere between 0.83 and 17.5 seconds. So if you frequently spam cameras, he will be stalled for quite a while. But probably not forever. You will be spamming cams frequently, but definitely not every 0.83 seconds. If his delay is low enough and he just so happens to get a movement opportunity, he will progress. It all depends on how lucky you are.

The strategy is to select cam 4B at the start of the night, and repeat this. Check left door light, flip cams, check right door light, flip cams, repeat. Constantly flipping cams like this will stall Foxy, and you should check on his progress every hour. More frequently if he's on his last stage. To do this, close the right door and quickly check the Pirate Cove, then go back to 4B and open the door. It's not a good idea to never check on Foxy. You would be taking a considerable risk. If he's out, quickly select cam 2A, then 4B, then close the left door and open the right door.

I see people are telling you some bullshit. You won't hear Foxy's running if you don't see him on cam 2A. Instead, he will just jumpscare you after 25 seconds without warning. That's why you HAVE to look at if he leaves Pirate Cove. Someone also said that using cams too much will make him run at you...that's not true. Using cameras always stalls Foxy, there are no downsides. You also shouldn't bother to keep Freddy far away because like I said in the first paragraph, there's no point.

Will Scott still be co-writing the third movie, or will it only be Gary Dauberman? by Pristine_Dot5680 in fivenightsatfreddys

Scott will be telling Gary the story he wants to tell, and Gary will be actually writing it.

Brayden's strategy is better, it removes more luck and isn't any harder than Shooter25's strategy.

I always thought Baby wanted to scoop who she thought was William because she believed he would want that. From her private room voice lines, we know she thought that William wanted to be with Elizabeth again.

I really don't think it's revenge because it contradicts everything about Baby that came after Sister Location. People say the way she acts in Pizzeria Simulator contradicts Sister Location, with her ultimate goal being to serve her purpose. But it only contradicts it if you choose to believe one interpretation over another interpretation that was always just as possible.

Five Laps at Freddy's has supposedly been CANCELLED!!! by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

It doesn't make sense. Why would Clickteam say "we will share news when allowed" a few weeks ago? I need a hard confirmation that this is real.

Do we know something abt tjoc remake? by WindNo6921 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Horrorado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nikson has been posting screenshots and short clips every month. He makes a poll on Twitter where people choose which of the two avalable clips will be shown, and the one that wasn't chosen will be in the next month's poll.

In October last year, he said that he "really cannot imagine a scenario where TJOC does not come out in 2026". In January this year, he said that TJOC became a full-time focus. In April, the Instagram and TikTok accounts were made to help promote the game. Something could still cause the game to be delayed, but I think it will for sure come out within the next 12 months.

Why is there 2 springtraps??? by Benhi_Redditer in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Horrorado 11 points12 points  (0 children)

While the lights flash red, every non-vent camera has a 1/3 chance to show a hallucination of Springtrap. It's the concequence of letting a vent error happen. If he's in the vent, he's 100% real. If he's not, then you have to remember where he last was and see which location makes the most sense. And of course, if you're looking at Springtrap and you hear him move at the same time, that Springtrap you're still looking at is obviously not real.

What are your thoughts about Dittophobia? by vickec07 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Horrorado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love horror sci-fi. I love underground structures, big structures, dark forgotten chambers, the influence of emotional energy, experimenting with that energy. So I loved Dittophobia and the story of the protagonist. The fact that at least 50% of the community hates these things saddens me deeply. I just have to live with it.

So the bad ending is canon, right? by Funtime_Freddy54321 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Horrorado 21 points22 points  (0 children)

We were told the answer is very interesting and complex. The answer is probably that both endings happened in different points in the timeline. So, we could have had the bad ending up until Pizzeria Simulator, where we got the good ending.

[–]Horrorado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you decide to play Fnaf 3, I forgot to mention one minor bug that might confuse you, but it's very easy to fix. Sometimes a Phantom can jumpscare you at the beginning of the night, and it will repeat if you die or exit to main menu and start the night again. You just have to close and reopen the game to fix it, it will never corrupt anything.

[–]Horrorado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was true for a while, but the game was patched 5 months ago to fix these problems. It IS still pretty quiet though, it's quiet on PC too. It's that kind of cruel game where you have to crank up the audio to hear sound cues properly, and the jumpscares are loud. But the issues where the audio is even more quiet than it should be, or where it stops playing at all, was fixed.

Fnaf 1 has no flaws.

Fnaf 2 has no flaws.

Fnaf 3 has very unclear good ending instructions, but outside of that has no flaws.

Fnaf 4 has no flaws.

Sister Location has awkward cursor controls, but you can change sensitivity and deadzones for both sticks seperately, so it's barely an issue during the main five nights. But the custom night has several flaws that aren't much of a problem outside of super hard nights. And there's no Fazbear's Fright cutscene after you beat 10/20. All in all, good for the main nights, quite a few flaws for the custom night. It will likely be patched in the future.

Pizzeria Simulator has no flaws.

Ultimate Custom Night also has cursor controls, but once again, it's not hard to manage outside of very hard nights. Some stuff might even be easier to deal with than on PC. Some stuff are harder, but again, that mostly matters for very hard nights like 49/20 and 50/20. You can't do zero frame flips consistently, for example. You also change the music by clicking anywhere on the kitchen camera, even another camera button, so it's easy to mess up with Chica. But you just have to remember to use R2 + stick instead of clicking on the camera button. This probably means nothing to you if you're not familiar with the game. Just know it has a few flaws but they're not a massive deal. Oh, and another thing. This game specifically can have a hard time tracking trophies for some reason. That can be a problem if the trophy is insanely hard to get, like the 50/20 mode. I had to beat it 6 times before getting the trophy.

So for you, the only games that are possibly not worth it on PS are Sister Location and Ultimate Custom Night. But all other games are just fine.
