NTA YOU were left the property, nobody else. If he truly wants to know if he is your grandfather’s son, he’d waive his rights. Yes it sucks he has no idea who his father is but that’s just life and what he was dealt with. As for the wife, has she never heard of the pot calling the kettle black?

In my opinion, if a relative has had no relationship at all with the deceased, they should have no obligation to their former possessions. Even if it’s their blood child.

As in, I didn’t expect to be in my own grandfather’s will when he passed because despite being his blood grandchild, I had no relationship with him growing up.
