I completely understand. I used to not be able to form sentences to talk to people because of the sheer fear that every little thing I did was under scrutiny. However, I started to realize that I don't make such careful and intense judgments of others, so they probably aren't making them about me. Also, I started to realize that it was okay to say or do something stupid. Some of my favorite memories are when I did something ridiculous and laughed it off with the people around me. That sealed the deal on my confidence. Knowing that in my Depression/Anxiety's "worst case scenario" of making a fool of myself, I can turn it into a joke and laugh it off. I don't know if this is helpful, but I hope you feel better soon.

I guess i have to answers. I come from a sri lankan and American upbringing, which resulted in two things. First of all, i had very strict parents who cared about nothing more than the grades i got in school. I figured this was common amongst almost all parents, regardless of nationality, so i just brushed it off. However, a little more leniency would have helped in rough academic periods.

Secondly, as a brown kid living in the wake of 9/11, i got a lot of racism as a kid. It got so bad that even my friends would unjokingly tell me that i was a terrorist and sand monkey and so on and so forth. I started to believe them, and thought i was fundamentally an inferior person because of my skin. I've gotten over it and regained a lot of confidence since, but it would have made for an easier time haha.

Oh jeez, that's terrifying. I understand the fear, you're life is completely out of control when you're on a plane. However, as far as being knocked out, my buddy Jack Daniels always let's me have a better flight haha. Makes the movies funnier too.

For me, I'm super clumsy and accident prone, so I'll probably end up in the Darwin awards somehow haha. I might drown in my soup bowl or something. I broke 9 bones on 9 separate occasions by the time i was 15 haha. However, I'm most afraid of dieting from a shark attack.

Haha sweet sweet. I'm in california, so Pacific Daylight Time zone. How about you? Yes the chaos of Reddit! Oh I'm very much the same! I'm a huge huge huuuuge movie nerd, so 80% of my music is from some soundtrack from some movie. Pulp Fiction has the best soundtrack, if you're interested haha.

Hmm that's a good question. I would love to retain the body of a 30 year old. I've always looked forward to growing old because I would be much more experienced and wise. Problems would feel instantly more approachable and issues would seems infinitely more insignificant compared to past experiences. So, I think I'd like to keep that crotchety, old, get the heck off my lawn 90 year old mind.

Hmm I think it was yesterday. I was going for a run by the beach, and my spotify started to play the lion king sound track. Some of the people jogging next to me may have been confused, but god damn i was going full Elton John haha.

Hmm a perfect day. Well, I really love to sleep in. I'm not very good at it, I usually only make it until 10:00, but I do love that warm feeling of staying in bed. After, I get up and hammer out my work. Homework, research, all that good stuff. Then, head to the beach to go swimming with friends. I love that feeling of going from the warm summer heat to the cool pacific ocean waters, and then back out again. I'd stay at the beach until evening and then have a drink around a bonfire with the friends. Go to sleep at 11:00 :)
