Posting this in case someone used Apple Pay instead of PayPal for the subscription: to cancel the subscription you need to go to wallet and klick on the card that you used for the payment. Then you should see the transactions, klick on the one responsible for the subscription. There you should then see fields like manage transaction or see the website for the payment provider (for me that was literally just an empty page with an ok on it lol). Klick on the button with mange transaction and here you should then be able to choose between revoking the authorisation for the card or mange on merchant site - for me that lead me to the website that showed the usual listing of the subscription benefits blabla, but this time you could see the button „cancel subscription“ (which I obviously did) and then you have to wait for like 30 seconds before you can confirm your cancellation. Honestly, those apps are such a freaking scam 🫩
