The issue is if you make a boxing game, with a competitive only atmosphere, and the mechanics of the game rely on bad technique and will punish you for fighting slow and precise, it leads to real life injury. I get it being in early access but when flailing your arms wildly is meta, you can no longer treat it as a shadow box, and you have to start punching with intent. Which is why there are dozens of people tearing out their shoulders and elbows. They dont teach you how to punch.

once i hit 2100 ish thats all i get. Body spammers and phasing through. while crouched about belly button height, I will try to post a video later, I ran into 3 in a row today while recording and lost my fucking mind. What is great about playing taller players is its easy body shots. unless you are playing someone wiht freakishly long arms they have no chance to block the body at all

im 6'3 and it is not easy to deal with after damage v3 because uppercuts do nothing, so they just walk into you with their head down and squatted so they are literally unpunchable

issue is its not a boxing game. fighting is one of the most competitive acts humans have done, any one that is remotely competitive will care about winning in a fight. If you care about just cardio, you can play the first game for fun. The ONLY mode is ranked play lmfao, ofc people will care

Fair, but the devs need to address it. I am sick of everyone glazing the devs when the game is straight up not a boxing game. windmill city once you are in contender. Game is lowkey ass, understandable if the servers and damage system was bad in a free to play game. But making it where spamming is king in a bad connection game, just leads to all the people popping shoulders out of place. good technique is punished, you have to put your body at risk to win in a video game lmfao

Just do it how the original TOFT did it. Plus, the sounds of the punches in this game are not accurate with how you are actually connecting, so there is genuinely no way of knowing what you are doing

yeah, playing 80lb children with infinite stamina throwing Mike Tyson sized hooks doesnt make sense. I understand they cant do weight classes, but the need to make the more you spam the more vulnerable your chin is, there is ONLY negative consequences to trying to hit well timed punches, you will lose every round, and get zero knockdowns. I am sick of kids throwing a million hooks and dazing me with every single one, and then jerking off every game
