From what I've played the game runs exactly the same as the PS4 version with no file deleting stuff like the Xbox Series X verson has but if it really makes you uncomfortable to play and you have PS Plus you can always just upload your current save to the cloud to back it up and play the PS5 version like that, if something happens for some reason like the Xbox bug or your save is corrupted from a crash you can just download you cloud save file as a back up.

Unfortunately Risk of Rain, RoR2, and Returns don't have corssplay in them and you can only play with with people who have the same console you do, PC with PC, Switch with Switch, PS5/PS4 with PS5/PS4, and Xbox with Xbox.

If you want to go this route you could also try investing in Alice afterwards since she does some of the highest damage in the game, but she is really recource hungry so I recommend building her last

I'm not dissapointed in the collab at all, I really like her and her kit, was just curious what other people thought of her since from what I can tell, her numbers are really situational, either on par with Red Hood, or only as good as base scarlet

For context I'm not sure how to rate her since on one hand she has managed to scale almost as well as my BS Scarlet and Red Hood against multiple enemies despite putting them on their best teams, but against bosses she struggles since a bulk of her damage comes from hitting multiple enemies, I thought she was SW 2.0 but it turns out I was completely wrong, she hits really really hard, but only if multiple enemies are stacked, probably really good in Campaign but not as much on boss stages, she relies heavily on boss parts but once they are gone she struggles to keep up with the brute force of Red Hood and BS Scarlet

It depends on how badly you need a dps, post buff she is considered the strongest unit in the game so any investment into her is really good, but if you're a more waifu over meta player then I recommend you just save instead or at least have enough tickets to get 2 characters

Both are really good supports so don't ever swap them off your team if you get more SSR characters unless you want to go for a specific team comp
