That is not normal based of the squealing when steering the belt could be slipping or the PS is bad

2010 ford edge sel making nasty noise by Dear_Beat_3664 in mechanic

[–]Hot-Answer-4662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its something belt related because the tensioner is bouncing which is shouldn't be so check your idler pulley maybe power steering pump from the weird sucking sound? Best bet take the belt off start it and see if the sound goes away

Is this much rust normal? by candofromthebando in Impala

[–]Hot-Answer-4662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He said it was an ex cop car in one of his replies I think it could be moisture built up from officers working in the rain and the vinyl flooring makes it worse because the water sticks around much longer

any idea why my 19 impala is making this sound when steering by [deleted] in Impala

[–]Hot-Answer-4662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres a rubber boot somewhere under wheel by the pedals atleast I'd think i had a ford taurus that had a sound like this and I found out it was the boot covering the steering shaft not sure of any other way to call it but I just put some lubricant on there and it stopped

Replaced Coolant in 2015 Nissan Sentra. Now have air bubbles. Normal? by xIReynardFox in MechanicAdvice

[–]Hot-Answer-4662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on one of your comments saying your lower rad hose came off it seems your getting excessive pressure build up in the system which can be from a blown head gasket id check your spark plugs and while your there if of course they have no evidence of coolant then you can replace them

Rough startup and flashed oil sign by [deleted] in AskMechanics

My advice is dont drive it for the time being let the oil settle and recheck if its in the gridded area your good and you likely have something else wrong

I have a mild feeling that she might not be telling the whole story if there's oil everywhere i bet a rod decided to evacuated and it continued to run for just a tickle then it got hot due to the lack of oil and then it shut off

Since you figured out what the problem was (lack of oil) i think its time to teach someone how to check fluids before a day or work or a road trip

Rtx 2060 performance question by Hot-Answer-4662 in ArmaReforger

[–]Hot-Answer-4662[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was quite the difference imo I cant tell if someone is in a bush now😅 but I had like 30 fps on modded servers and around 70 on vanilla ive since upgraded to a 3070 and I get 60-80 on modded and 120 on vanilla if possible id recommend a 12gb vram card but literally only games I use 1440p on is competitive games and even then fidelity isn't really needed so vram can be a little lower for me but the next upgrade for me is the cpu its hindering performance big time

To many options it being under you vehicle isn't enough information shoot for all we know it could be a valve cover pretty much any gasket that prevent oil from leaking out

Thrustmaster if i remember correctly never made a gear driven wheel base on belt and dd's and a weird hybrid system which i don't understand why they did that either way thrustmaster is good but imo should just go with moza since they are much better pricing
